Abstract

356,257. Valve amplifying circuits. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd., Crown House, Aldwych, London.-(Assignees of Ring, A. D. ; 419, Union Street, Schenectady, New York, U.S.A.) June 5, 1930, No. 17456. Convention date, June 5, 1929. [Class 40 (v).] The inter-electrode capacity of a valve having input and output circuits connected to it by relatively long leads is neutralized by the provision of an inductance 21 connected to the anode through neutralizing condenser 22 and directly, or through a blocking condenser 15, to the grid. The inductance is arranged adjacent to the valve and has a tapping connected to the cathode of the valve.
