Abstract

354,047. Switch handles. TUCKER, J. B., Kings Road, Tyseley, Birmingham. July 30, 1930, No. 22908. [Class 38 (v).] Two tumbler switches mounted side-by-side on ar insulating base b have the pivot-pins a of the insulating operating - levers supported by three pillars c, d, e fastened to the base. The inner adjacent ends of the pins a are provided with insulating caps a<1> and the outer ends are provided with insulating sleeves a<2>. Instead of two pivot pins one continuous pivot pin may be employed, in which case the contact mechanisms are insulated from the pivot pin in order to make the switches independent. Specification 337,870, [Class 38 (v), Electric switches &c.], is referred to.
