[Class 40 (v).] A super-regenerative wireless receiver is used as a television receiver to control the light. from a source D. The frequency of oscillation of the quenching circuit B is synchronized with, or slightly different from, the picture scanning frequency. The quenching action prevents the persistence of signals which tends to occur in short-wave receivers.
