Abstract
A composition for roads, roofs, &c., consists of peat moss, coconut fibre, &c. (say 10 parts), stone and sand (62) and a binding composition (28) consisting of fuel oil, hard pitch such as that obtained by subjecting petroleum residue to a high temperature, and native bitumen (in proportions say 2 : 9 : 4). The composition may be spread hot or pressed into blocks. Specification 330,440, [Class 22, Cements &c.], is referred to.
