Abstract

Scrap metallic material, particularly scrap welding electrodes of the copper-molybdenum or copper-tungsten type, and material resulting from their machining during manufacture, is reclaimed by grinding the material to powder and heating the powder in a reducing atmosphere. The product may be formed into electrodes or other articles with or without the addition of more metal.
