351,671. Cases for photographic cameras. MILLER, F. J., 9, Stonehouse Road, Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshire. May 15, 1930, No. 14938. [Class 98 (i).] In camera cases in which the back, front and coverflap are formed in one piece and united to the sides, the extensions of the sides to form a seating for the flap are reinforced, and the joints between the side pieces and the back and front strengthened by a metal shoe which covers the extensions externally and is provided with ears which bend over and grip the back and front. In the form shown the shoe c is of channel section to engage the edge of the extension and comprises a plate c<1> and ears c<3> turned over the front and back and a downward projection c<4> which is riveted to the side, the rivet also forming a point of attachment for the sling e. The part c<4> may be extended to the width of the case and be provided with side pieces engaging the joints of the case.
