350,983. Bow-facing oars. WEBB, G. F., 1, Mountain Park Avenue, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Dec. 13, 1929, No. 38265. Convention date, Dec. 13, 1928. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. [Class 114.] In a bow facing oar, the blade 18 and handle 19 are pivoted at intermediate points 25 to a bar 14 in a gunwale mounting 10 and their ends connected by a link 28. Holes 43 are provided for adjusting the length relative to attachment pins. The mounting 10 has a pin 11 for fixing in a socket 12 in the gunwale 6 and another pin 16 projecting into a slot 17 in the bar 14 for limiting its oscillating motion. The parts 18, 19 are cranked in the vicinity of the mounting into the plane of the connecting link 28.
