Abstract

350,175. Shelves, racks, &c. CREDENDA CONDUITS CO., Ltd., and DAVIS, P. W., Rood End Road, Oldbury, Birming- ham. May 6, 1930, No. 13850. [Class 52 (i).] A shelf, rack, or like support, intended especially for ovens, but applicable for other purposes, is formed with a channel a at each side, adapted to slide on unitary flanges, so that tilting of the shelf &c. is prevented. In Fig. 3 the channels are formed by channel-section members a secured to the edges of the shelf. Among other constructions illustrated, that shown in Fig. 5 comprises a Z-section member a<1> to the upper flange of which is secured a parallel series of rods b forming the grid, the channel being formed between the projecting ends of the rods and the lower flange of the member a<1>. Fig. 8 shows a further form, in which the ends of the rods b forming the grid are cranked downwardly and a flat strip a is secured to them to form the upper wall of the channel. The constructions shown allow the shelf to be supported at a different height by inverting it so that it is supported on the other flanges of the channels.
