Abstract

349,868. Sifting apparatus. COMEBRA SOC. ANON., 2, Rue Jorez, Brussels.-(Assignees of Pirlot, G.; 17, Rue Brialmont, Brussels.) Sept. 11, 1930, No. 27207. Convention date, Sept. 13, 1929. [Class 117.] In sieves of the kind which are vibrated by a rotary unbalanced pulley mounted on the sieve frame, a wire netting 1, Figs. 1 and 3, which is attached to the rigid frame 6 at its ends only has its longitudinal edges 2 turned up and reinforced and provides the support for cross-piece 9 on which the unbalanced pulley 12 is mounted. The ends of the netting 1 are clamped between bars 3 turned up at the ends 5, and connected to the frame 6 by tensioning bolts 7 and hinged joints 8. A second finer screen 14 may be mounted above or below the netting 1 being secured thereto by clamping plates 16 and bolts 15 at the ends, and by interposed longitudinal spacing bars 18 of wood &c.
