[Class 69 (iii).] An atomizer operable by one hand comprises a plate a, Figs. 2 and 4, supporting a bottle b, an upright d serving as a handle and carrying an air bulb h and supporting a tubular member i parallel with the bar plate a and connected to atomizing nozzles carrying a depending liquid passing through a resiliently mounted stopper. In the form shown in Fig. 2, the upright d is pivoted about a pin e and held in place in a recess c on the plate a by a compression spring f and a bayonet catch. The atomizer comprises a T-piece o supporting air and liquid nozzles k, l at right-angles to one another and an outlet nozzle p. In the form shown in Fig. 4, the upright d slides over a tubular member d<1> provided with a slot t, t<1> engaged by a pin u so that the upright may be held in the raised position while putting a bottle in place. The arm i carries a depending tube y provided with air outlets near the top and carrying a resilient closure pad z. Opposite the tube y is a member v screwed in the arm i carrying a telescopic pipe m, concentric with the tube y, and an outlet pipe m<1> which extends into the air nozzle p. A tension spring f within the upright d holds the pad z against the bottle b. A cleaning needle x is screwed in the member v.
