Abstract
318,621. Electrolux, Ltd., (Assignees of Inventia Patent-Verwertungs-Ges.). Sept. 8, 1928, [Convention date]. Air-pressure sprayers. -A sprayer, more particularly for use with low pressure air supply such as the blower of a vacuum cleaner has an air ejector nozzle q, of Venturi form, adapted to be moved relatively to the outlet p<1> of a liquid pipe p in order to regulate the spray. A liquid reservoir a provided with a filling opening d having a strainer b is traversed by an air tube e, the lower end e<1> of which is coned to receive a standard tube of a vacuum cleaner blower. The upper end of the tube e is connected to a bent pipe f on which turns a second bent pipe g carrying a cylindrical extension h on which the nozzle member i slides. An inclined slot k in the member i engages a pin l on the member h so that rotation of the nozzle causes it to move in an axial direction. A liquid conduit s leads from the bottom of the reservoir a to a support m in the bent pipe f. A liquid tube p supported by spiders n, o and bent to agree with the bent pipe g fits in the liquid tube s. A tube r connects the upper air space in the reservoir a with the air supply e. The filling plug d may be conically bored to receive the blower tube of a vacuum cleaner by which additional pressure may be exerted on the liquid.
