Abstract

349,289. Cables. SIEMENSSCHUCKERTWERKE AKT.-GES., Siemensstadt, Berlin. May 16,1930, No. 15121. Convention date, May 28, 1929. Drawings to Specification. [Class 36.] To avoid ionization in an impregnated-paper high-tension cable, layers of semi-conductive material such as paper loaded with graphite or soot are arranged on the conductor or under the lead sheath or at both places. The insulation resistance of the layers may be graded. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 291,871 and 313,590, [both in Class 36, Electricity, Conducting &c.].
