348,568. Automatic guns. VICKERSARMSTRONGS, Ltd., LARSSON, C. A., and HIGSON, P. R., Vickers House, Broadway, Westminster. Feb. 10, 1930, No. 4436. [Classes 92 (ii) and 119.] A gas-operated machine gun or automatic smallarm has the plug valve for controlling the tapped gases formed in two parts the main part B being adjustable within the gas-block A and carrying a subsidiary part C fitted within the main part and provided with a curved gas passage C<1>. The gasblock A is formed with the customary regulating valve turning in a bore A<x> and the plug valve B is formed with recesses B2, B3 as described in Specification 252,429, [Class 92 (ii), Ordnance, &c.].
