348,370. Hinges ; stays. CHENEY, C. W., Factory Road, Soho, Birmingham. May 7, 1930, No. 14005. [Classes 65 (i) and 65 (ii).] A link e is hinged at one end to one leaf a of the hinge, and its other end slides in a guide c forming part of the other leaf b. A spring tongue g, fixed to the back of the leaf band passing through it, engages the sliding end of the link, as shown, to hold the hinge in its open position. In a modification, the tongue g forms part of the guide c, being bent inwards to engage the front of the link end. The hinge leaves are formed of sheet metal blanks bent over the pin d.
