[Class 40 (iii).] The impedance char. acteristics of a lattice network of the form shown ir the Figure particularly adaptable for phase compensation are improvec by making equal the energy factors of the inductance coils L1, L2 by selecting coils having inherent resistances Rl, R2 satisfying the relation L1/R1=L2/R2.
