345,824. Locking nuts. DEHN, F. B., 103, Kingsway, London. - (Clegg Lock Washer Corporation ; 4725, West Lake Street, Chicago, U.S.A.) April 1, 1930, No. 10375. [Class 89 (i).] A washer 18 having a flat on its inner periphery en. gaging a flat 16 on the bolt has a ring of ratchet teeth on its outer surface engaging similar teeth on a second washer 28 having lugs 26 bent out of its surface to contact with the sides of the nut. In a modification washer 18 is locked to the work by teeth on its inner surface. In a second modification the lugs 26 are replaced by teeth to engage the bearing face of the nut.
