[Class 89 (i)] Nuts are locked by washer! having a series of periphera lugs 4 bent to an angle to facilitate clinching as by a hammer, against the sides of the nut. Stamped up, pierced, welded-on, or like. protuberances 7 engage recesses in the face against which the nut is tightened. Specification 125,349, [Class 89 (i)], is referred to.
