[Class 100 (iii).] Escapements.-The escapements are locked, when necessary, by a longitudinally adjustable locking- plate F, which is notched in one edge and is moved to locate the notches in or out of register with the depending lugs c on the forward ends of the escapement actuating-plungers C<5>. The locking-plate is adjusted either by hand or automatically by a stationary cam H, when the magazine is moved. Specification 7222/12, [Class 100 (iii), Type making &c.], is referred to.
