Abstract

344,718. Wireless transmitting systems. LORENZ AKT.-GES., C., 1, Lorenzweg, Tempelhof, Berlin. May 12, 1930, No. 14592. Convention date, Oct. 25, 1929. [Class 40 (v).] In a modulating system employing a choke in the aerial circuit and a choke in a compensating circuit, the two chokes Dr1 and Dr2, Figs. 2 and 3, are arranged in series in the anode circuit of a valve R3 supplied with the modulating currents in such a way that their preliminary magnetizations are in opposite directions and are altered in the opposite sense by fluctuations in the anode current. In one arrangement, Fig. 2, the steady anode current from battery B passes through the chokes, and choke Dr2 is given a preliminary magnetization of opposite sign to that of choke Dr1 by means of an auxiliary battery H through a low-frequency choke N1. In a modification, Fig. 3, the steady anode current passes only through choke Dr1, the d.c. circuit being completed through choke N1 and the anode battery B, which also magnetizes the choke Dr2 through a potential divider P and series resistance R, while a capacity C is connected between the choke and the valve cathode. Specification 316,946, [Class 40 (v), Wireless signalling &c.], is referred to.
