343,343. Vehicle door locks. DASTE, M. J., 12, Rue Pierre-Lhomme, Courbevoie, Seine, France. March 11, 1930, No. 7957. Convention date, Dec. 12, 1929. [Class 44.] A door lock for motor - cars and other vehicles has the plate a of the locking mechanism fixed to the door and provided with a conical recess b. The stub c which engages in this recess is mounted on the frame e with the interposition of a silent block f which renders the connection r e s ilient. A cylindrical eyelet el is attached to the frame e, and the silent block f, which consists of two concentric metallic tubes'with india-rubber between, is fixed in the eyelet. The stub c is fixed to the rod g which passes through the block f. The transverse hole d in the stub c receives the locking bolt. In a modification the lock plate a carries the stub c which enters an eye in a rod mounted on the silent block on the frame e.
