Stops for preventing rattling and slamming of doors of vehicles consist of an incomplete ring 15 filled with a rubber plug 16 and loosely housed in an open-sided cage 19 screwed to the door by means of a plate. The ring engages a tapered and flared recess in the door jamb. The ring is introduced into the cage through a hole in the attachment plate.
