179,294. Swan, J. W. Feb. 2, 1921. Latches, lift; latches, sliding.-Relates to door latches of the type wherein a sliding plunger operates a pivotal or sliding latch by wedge action. The plunger F is a close sliding fit within the axial hole G<2> in the door-handle G. The plunger has an integral reduced portion F<3> to provide an annular space for the spring J.
