Abstract

204,949. Charlesworth Bodies, Ltd., Steane, C., Jackson, S. B., and Critchard, O. J. Nov. 11, 1922. Vehicle windows; rattling, preventing.- The pivoted guides 2 for the sliding windows of vehicles are faced on the outside with rubber &c. packing 4 which engages the pillar &c. and prevents rattling. The facing is secured to the guide by means of any suitable metal core 8, Fig. 4, and screws 6, or it may be moulded and held in a recess of suitable shape with or without screws 13, Fig. 7. Flanges 12 may be formed on the guides to prevent spreading of the rubber packing.
