Abstract

198,737. Wenham, G. H. Feb. 10, 1922. Hoods.-A cant-rail supporting pillar D is hinged to a post A in the vehicle body so that it can be swung outwards and downwards to be housed in a recess F in the post. The doors B, C have flanges G overlapping the recess, and have hinged window guides J with flanges K projecting over the raised pillar, which has an outer rib M and a cranked part adapted to rest on the top of the post. The cantrail N and pillar D may be clamped together by a screw R on the cant-rail co-operating with a threaded hole or with a slot in the pillar.
