Abstract

165,753. Lewkowicz, L. July 1, 1920, [Convention date]. Vehicle windows.-The window of an automobile or other vehicle door slides in sliding guides 4 being engaged therewith by tenons 8 and grooves 6. Tenons on the guides engage grooves 3 in the frame which are turned outwardly and downwardly as shown in Fig. 5. In closing the window the weather excluder 9 engages the fence rail 10 and the tenon 5 rests in the bottom of the downturned end of the groove 3, the window being thereby rigidly held.
