Abstract
342,200. Steam traps. LASSEN, E., 31, De Vere Gardens, London. March 21, 1930. No. 9125. [Class 64 (ii).] In a steam trap comprising an axially movable conical plug B having circumferential grooves B\ mounted in a casing having inlet and outlet ports E, D, a perforated tube H is provided, s u r - rounded by a gauze sleeve H<1>. Steam passes through this device before reaching the space G, and dirt is intercepted. A drain cock is connected at F<1>, through which solid matter may be blown out when the plug B is closed. The strainer is carried by a screwed plug H<2> and is detachable.
