Abstract
263,592. Blakeborough, B. A., and Tart, H. Nov. 14, 1925. Plug cocks; strainers, applications of. -A strainer plate c, Fig. 5, fits between flanges b<4> in the interior of a plug cock and is supported by a plate d which closes the end of the hollow plug and of its casing a. The plate d may be formed with a sump g<2> which is in communication with the inlet side of the strainer. The strainer may be cleansed by means of a steam jet h arranged in the outlet passage.
