Abstract
341,984. Filters or strainers. DAVIES, R. R. L., Mill House, Glanafon, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire. Oct. 29, 1929, No. 32797. [Class 46.] In a device for filtering or straining milk a member 12 with a converging baffle 13, forming a central throughway for the milk, is placed between the strainer and the container 10 for the strained milk. Straining gauge 22 is carried by a member 16, and the members 16, 12, 10 telescope together. A partition 19 forms an inlet for the milk which is directed by a sloping impervious sheet 20 through a space or aperture 21 on to the gauze 22. The gauze occupies the section outside the partition 19 and is accessible from above. An additional member fitted with a filter pad may be telescoped between the members 16, 12.
