295,663. Gass, W. G. May 13, 1927. Steam traps.-In a steam trap, shown as of the expansion type, a dirt catcher is made in one therewith or attached thereto to form a single appliance. In the form shown dirt, passing to the trap valve 6 with steam entering at 8, is retained in the chamber 12 and can be blown out at intervals through the plug hole 13 in the side of the chamber.
