[Class 64 (ii).] A steam trap comprises a conical grooved plug h fitting into a nozzle a which is threaded into a cylindrical part b provided with a plug d to receive the threaded operating stem e. A flanged bush f is provided to guide a cylindrical part g of the plug h. The use of a stuffing box is avoided by the provision of a diaphragm i. The stem e may carry an index pointer k and the plug d may be locked by a ring n.
