341,375. Hasp fastenings. TIBBLES, H. J., Brodsworth, Blenheim Crescent, Leigh-on-Sea, and RELY-A-BELL BURGLAR & FIRE ALARM CO., Ltd., 49A, Wilson Street, Finsbury Square, London. May 17, 1930, No. 15255. [Class 44.] The staple d which receives a padlock g to secure a slotted hinged hasp b of ordinary form, has a depending portion h which covers the space between the shackle f and lock casing, to prevent insertion of a tool to force the lock open. The portion h may also prevent the padlock from being swung away from the door &c. by engaging with the front of the upper portion of the padlock case. The portion h may form an enlargement of the staple to an extent limited by the size of the slot c through which the staple has to pass.
