Abstract
<PICT:0340503/III/1> Chemical reactions between liquids and gases are promoted by forcing the liquids and gases together under pressure through a tube 6 containing gravel or glass beads, or through a cellular mixing body of meerschaum or pumicestone. The gas is forced in through a pipe 3 and the liquid through a pipe 1.
