Abstract

340,265. Making whipped cream. JACKSON, L. MELLERSH-, 28, Southampton Buildings, London.-(Cohnitz, E.; 5, Bellevuestrasse, Berlin.) June 22, 1929, No. 28341/30. Divided on 340,268. [Class 86.] Whipped cream is prepared by forcing cream and a gas together under pressure through a large-surface mixing body such as meerschaum or pumice stone. As shown, cream is placed in a vessel 1 into which air is forced by a pipe 6. The cream is driven into a pipe 8 together with some air from the pipe 6. The cream and air are forced through a tube 9 packed with gravel or glass beads 10. The whipped cream issues at the outlet 12. By using a gas other than air, a medicinal cream can be obtained.
