Abstract

338,357. Clarke, J. Nov. 11, 1929. Stationary-cutter machines.-In an apparatus for cutting fabric &c. into strips, cutters 6 adjustably mounted on a shaft 5 are rotated from a pulley 11 and co-operate with a grooved roll 3 rotated by traction. The web is drawn through adjustable tensioning rolls and bars, and the strip is wound upon spools rotated from the pulley 11 through a clutch.
