Abstract

Reflectors; mounting reflectors on lamp casings.-An anti-dazzle device for vehicle lamps comprises a reflecting strip 3 mounted on the outer edge of a parabolic reflector 1 and provided with spirally or radially disposed ribs 4. The ribs may be arranged continuously or discontinuously around the strip. A number of such strips may be employed, the ribs of each strip being staggered with respect to the ribs of adjacent strips. The strips may be made of metal or of mirrored glass and may be detachably or firmly fixed to the reflector or be carried by the front glass of the lamp. In the form shown, the inner edge 5 of the strip 3 engages the surface of the reflector 1 whilst the outer edge is provided with a flange 6 having an annular groove adapted to engage in a corresponding groove in the flange 2 of the reflector 1.
