Abstract

336,060. Lyons & Co., Ltd., J., and Hearne, H. D. A. Sept. 2, 1929. Folding seats; bottoms and backs.-A folding chair comprises parts adapted automatically to close together, when the chair is in the position of use, to hold in place a separate seat member, and to open apart, when the chair is in its folded position, to release the seat member and allow of its removal. Such a chair is shown in the drawings comprising side members 1, pivoted X- frames 5 and links 6, the separate seat 8 being gripped between the members 7 and 1 when the chair is in use. A removable back 10, with tubular sides, may be provided.
