335,340. Brantom, H., Williams, H. G. Bawtree-, Bitton, E. A., and Storry, Ltd., H. A. Aug. 22, 1929. Drawings to Specification. Magnetic instruments. - An electromagnetic pick-up, microphone, recorder, or loud-speaker is provided with two or more separate and identical windings adapted to be connected in separate circuits, and to have equal and identical voltages induced in them, or magnetic fluxes produced by them, as the case may be. The coils may be wound simultaneously with two wires and are associated with two amplifiers in parallel or pushpull relationship which preferably feed a single two-coil loud-speaker. The pick-up described is otherwise of normal construction having an armature pivoted between two U-shaped pole-pieces surrounding the coils, and damped at its upper end by rubber blocks.
