Loud-speakers ; magnetic - instruments.-A loud-speaker comprises an electromagnetic driving unit 1, a rod 3 actuated thereby, a rigid support 2 on which the driving unit 1 is mounted and a second rigid member 5 rigidly fixed to the support 2, the driving rod 3 being attached to the member 5. The driving rod 3 is unable to perform longitudinal vibrations and vibrates transversely. The rigid member 5 may be the sounding board of a piano.
