Abstract

281,792. Paterson, C. A. Sept. 18, 1926. Loud-speakers. - A loud-speaker horn is of flat and very thin cross-section, so as to be capable of accommodation in the normal space behind an article of furniture such as a piano, and is provided with an overhanging hood 17 with side walls 19, which directs the sound forwardly and also serves as a means of support. Insulating strips 20, 21 of felt are preferably fitted as shown. The narrow end of the horn is fitted into a block 14 provided with a central passage 15, to which a sound-reproducing unit is attached.
