308,801. Bonnier, F.-X. L. H. M. G. March 31, 1928, [Convention date]. Loud-speakers; diaphragms.-The diaphragm 1 of a loud-speaher is acoustically connected to an adjustable resonator 3 having a further resilient diaphragm 2. The volume of the resonator may be adjusted by means of a drum 5 having a resilient face and actuated by a screw 6. The diaphragm 2 may be of glass, metal, wood, paper, cardboard, skin, &c., covered with thin rubber sheet 7, and may be paraboloidal, the space between it and the loud-speaker diaphragm, which may be similarly covered, being lined with felt or other sound-absorbent material.
