Abstract
330,831. Bryan, W. Aug. 20, 1929. Window blinds.-A shop sunblind or awning 1 is provided with an additional piece which stands up vertically on the upper face of the blind and extends in a direction at right-angles to the front edge 3 of the blind. In the construction shown a triangular piece of fabric a is attached, along one edge b, to the blind fabric and is held vertically by a spring-controlled arm c carried by the front lath 3 of the blind. When the blind is rolled up the narrow end of the piece a winding upon the roller, with the blind, causes the arm c to fold down upon the lath 3. In a modification the front edge of the piece a is attached to an arm, pivoted to the front lath 3, which is pulled down upon the lath 3 by a cord before the blind is rolled up. The piece a may be cut out of the blind.
