Folding vehicles; peambulators. -In a folding perambulator of the kind in which the frame comprises rigid side members pivoted at the forward end to the chassis and adapted to be folded by means of the handle the handle and frame are connected directly by a link or links. As shown in Fig 1 the rigid side members 3 of the shape shown are pivoted at 2 to the chassis 1 and are connected at the other end to the handle levers 5 by pivoted links 4. Additional side members 15 which may extend round the front cart of the body 20 are pivoted to the members 3 at 16 and are supported by struts 18 which when collapsed allow the front part to fall to form a well for a child sitting facing forwardly. Fig. 2 shows the perambulator partly folded. In Fig 7 the rigid side members 3 are of the shape shown, the members 15 are pivoted to the members 3 at the rear part and the struts 4 are hidden by the handle levers 5 and are locked in position when the vehicle is extended by means of a sliding or pivoted latch 43. A well may be formed in or associated with the chassis. The upper part of the body 20 is provided with stiffener strips of metal 21, 22, Fig. 6. A rever-- sible hood 33 is provided.
