Abstract

Drawer-and-shell boxes; fittings, internal.-A box for cartridges comprises a casing or shell with opening flaps at one or both ends and of only slightly greater height than the length of a cartridge, and an inner open-ended, box-shaped drawer member sliding within the shell and provided with withdrawal tabs at one or both ends, and a false bottom, the top and the false bottom of the drawer having corresponding perforations to retain cartridges projectile downwards. In an example, the drawer or tray 1, provided with folding withdrawing tabs 5 at the ends, is preferably made from a single blank, Fig. 3, scored on one side and perforated, and folded as in Fig. 4, so that cartridges can be inserted through the perforations in the top 3<1> and false bottom 3. The drawer or tray slides in an outer casing or shell 6 which has closing flaps 7.
