328,397. Perks, C., Shields, C. E., and Murray, T. G. March 19, 1929. No Patent granted (Scaling fee not paid). Addition to 291,508. Window blinds.-In a sunblind operated by an electric motor contained within a hollow blind roller to which it is connected through the medium of speed reduction gearing as described in the parent Specification a clutch is interposed between the reduction gearing and the roller so that the motor can be disconnected from the roller to enable the blind to be manually operated. In the construction shown, the low speed shaft e of the reducing gearing c of the electric motor b slidably carries one plate f of a dog clutch which normally engages a complementary plate g secured to the roller a. The plates are disengaged by a pivoted lever h operated by a cable j, which is brought outside the roller through the hollow stub on which the motor is mounted.
