Fluid-pressure; blocks and shoes acting on drums.-In compressed air actuated brakes as described in the parent Specification, the two pistons a', a<2> are mounted respectively on pivots b<1>, b<2> that are arranged diagonally on cylindrical walls e<1>, e<2> of the casing of the actuator whereby the pistons remain parallel to each other during their movement. The casing is completed by front and rear walls c<1> that are parallel with the fixed plate d of the brake and are secured thereto by the pivots b<1>, b<2>. A flexible envelope f for receiving the compressed air is disposed in the casing as in the prior invention.
