Invalids' &c. tables; legs; table tops.-A table, particularly a bed table, is made with tubular legs, and with extensions which slide vertically in the legs, and are provided with castors or feet. Fig. 1 shows an end view of a table consisting of a sheet-metal top a which is introduced into the longitudinal joints of four pieces of close-joint tubin b which, together with four chill castings or other corner members c, form the frame of the table top. The members c also attach four tubular legs d, each end pair of which is braced apart by a cross tube e. Tubular members g, which telescope into the legs d, are similarly braced apart by cross tubes h, on which are vertical members l passing through sleeves n on the cross tubes e. Pin and slot adjustments m, o enable the height of the table to be adjusted. The parts l, n may be transposed and placed on the tubes e, h respectively.
