Abstract
325,417. McNeil, A. March 27, 1929. No Patent granted (Sealing fce not paid). Ventilators.-A ventilator, adapted to be fitted in the space between a partly-opened sliding window and its frame either at the top or bottom, or at both such positions, consists of a cylindrical tube of perforated material or wire gauze. The ventilator may be in the form of two telescopic tubes A, B attached to the sash C by spring clips D as shown in Fig. 1. When applied to a vehicle window, the ventilator A has a channel-shaped recess a<1> in its underside and cut-away ends a<2>, a<3>, Fig. 8, for engaging with a recessed part f of the sash F as shown in Fig. 6. The tube A may be of celluloid. The Provisional Specification also describes the tube as being of square, oval, oblong or triangular form in crosssection.
