440,904. Sun-bathing cabins. BAKER, J. R., 619, Liverpool Road, Ainsdale, near Southport, Lancashire. Aug. 24, 1934, No. 24395. [Class 20 (i)] [See also Group VI] A sun-bathing cabin is made with a side wall 8 hinged on an horizontal axis, so as to open out to admit the sun, in combination with a screen 31 forming an extension of the side 8 when this is in the open position and with end screens 12 extending over the triangular spaces between the cabin and the ends of the side 8. The part 6 of the roof on the same side may be hinged to open up, and may be fitted with a bracket 14, 16 to hold the roof in the open position shown in dotted lines. Trough-shaped ventilators 22, 23 may be fitted in walls of the cabin and in the door 21. The cabin may be mounted on a pivot 4 and rollers 2 on a base 3.
