689,750. Windows. BECKETT, LAYCOCK & WATKINSON, Ltd. Aug. 7, 1951 [Aug. 25, 1950], No. 21080/50. Class 20(iii) The upper panels 11, one or more of which may be horizontally slidable, of a pan-type vehicle or like window are mounted on a runner 15 shaped as shown and removably secured to the stationary cross bar 13, so that the runner and panels may be removed or assembled together. Drain holes 16 in the runner allow discharge of water (e.g. from condensation on the inside of either panel or from rain falling on the outside of the inner panel) to the outside of the vehicle. Specification 536,954 is-referred to.
