Abstract

324,884. Dickie, T. June 13, 1929. Hay bogies.-A rick lifter of the kind comprising a trolley fitted with a rope 6 adapted to engage the rick and a winch drum 8 for hauling the rick on to the bogey has a shaft 10 carrying a bevel pinion 9 engaging a bevel wheel on the winch drum, the shaft being inclined so that the handle end 12 is forwardly situated to facilitate manipulation of the handle. The shaft 10, Fig. 3, may be fitted with a spur wheel 15 driven by a pinion 16 on a second handle shaft 17 and forming a speed-reducing gearing.
